The Galapagos Islands are home to amazing birds. They are quite large and sociable. The birds themselves are gray, but the paws of these birds are very bright. And the brighter the paws of the male, the more desirable it is for the female. The blue-footed gannet lives in the sea, feeds on the catch, dives for prey. I also liked these unusual legs, bright and eye-catching. I captured and painted several portraits of these magical birds. Gouache on paper
