The painting was created over the course of four months. Layer by layer the artist thought through the plot and realized his plans. The technique of oil painting using a palette knife is considered quite complex and time-consuming. The layers of paint need to be dried so that they do not mix with each other and only then continue to create new layers of a different color. The glazing technique was also used. Glazing is one of the technical methods of applying paints to a base in a thin, translucent layer, for which purpose the amount of binder in the paint is increased.
