Amazing place, sea, warm, enveloping air, rocky terrain with sandy beaches and pine trees. This is the fabulous and sunny coast of Turkey. The pines in these places are not at all like ours. Ours rush into the sky, breaking through the clouds, upward, and these pines bend under the scorching rays of the sun and spread exactly on the ground, bending around the stones. A clear sunny and almost cloudless day, an amber sea and a bizarre pine tree. Original gouache painting on paper.
