Bright Peach Sunset at Mont-Louis, original painting
In the evening there was a theatrical performance, a theater of nature came down on us with all its decorations and light. Bright natural spotlights lit the sky in a bright peach color, the air was filled with silence and only the cries of seagulls and the sound of a small surf came from the bank of the St. Lawrence River. This is a picturesque area of Gaspesie with seawater, seashells on the coast and amazing sunsets over the river. I sat next to my motor in Mont-Louis and watched this sunset so that I could write it when I returned home.
